How we Work

With an ambition to ease both the Human Resources Department’s workload and the assignee’s administration and relocation efforts, RSH offers an extensive and high-level services package for securing a soft landing in the Netherlands.

From Immigration and Relocation challenges to Home Search adventures, as a ‘one stop shop’ we have the in-house expertise and team to cover all... but, HOW do we WORK?

This page offers a brief overview of the Immigration and Relocation steps from start to finish.

1. Meet & Greet | Document collection

As a first step, we will schedule a Meet & Greet’ video call to get to know you better and share more information about the RSH immigration process. This together with collecting all required documents for your IND (Dutch Immigration Authority) and other registrations.

2. Filing and monitoring applications

With all documents in place, our Immigration Lawyers will proceed with filing and monitoring your IND application.

3. Visa collection and appointment scheduling

With an IND approval, our Immigration Lawyers will move forward with scheduling your Visa collection (*) and arranging your IND and biometric, bank and municipality appointments.

4. Permits, registrations and a comfortable landing

As a final step, we will ensure that all necessary documents and registrations are activated and in place for welcoming you to the Netherlands. Our Immigration Lawyers will schedule a pick-up appointment for your residence permit, a DigiD (digital identification) application will be sent and information about municipal registrations, dentists and doctors (*) etc. will be shared.

1. Meet & Greet | Home Search Profile

As a first step, we will schedule a ‘Meet & Greet’ video call to learn more about your personal situation and (short or long term) relocation | housing preferences. This together with collecting all required documents needed for securing your preferred apartment, once found.

2. Home Search activation

With a clear view on your housing preferences, our Field Consultants will actively scan local housing markets for available apartments and schedule (online) viewing appointments.

3. Securing your apartment

If an apartment has your interest, RSH will initiatie the rental agreement negotiations for securing your new home. This together with the coordination of deposit payments, apartment check-in and keys handover, once the agreement has been signed.

4. Utilities, registrations and getting you connected

To support a comfortable landing in your new home, our Field Consultant will offer assistance in scheduling your municipal registration, setting up your utilities and internet connection and arrange your dentist, doctor and/or schooling appointments (*).
